Sleep Tips to Help You with Sleeping Better

Updated: Dec 1

Everyone’s sleep cycle is different, however, the recommended hours of sleep needed by most adults is a minimum 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

Sleep Tips

Having healthy sleep habits makes a difference in your quality of life. Healthy sleep habits are often also referred to as sleep hygiene. The following is a list of sleep practices that I have personally used and still do use each night. I hope that these help you begin your sleep journey to a better night’s sleep.

·       Have a sleep schedule where you go to bed and wake up the same time each day, including weekends.

·       Use a Sleepy Sleep Time Sleep Spray on your pillow, bedding, and in the air.

·       Switch off all electrical devices an hour before bedtime.

·       Have a relaxing bedtime ritual that avoids watching tv.

·       Avoid naps especially in the afternoon.

·       Regularly exercise and eat healthy.

·       Is your pillow and mattress the right comfort for you?

·       Avoid heavy meals in the evening.

·       Unwind an hour before going to bed by doing a calming activity.

·       Avoid caffeine late in the day (after 12 noon).

·       Clear your mind.

·       Take a relaxing bath or shower.

·       Create a comfortable peaceful bedroom.

·       Avoid clock watching.

·       Switch off all electronic devices.

·       Have an herbal tea.

·       Is your bedroom the right temperature?

If I can be of any further assistance in helping you sleep better and wake refreshed, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I also offer sleep coaching that is tailored to your needs through an Aromatherapy consultation.
